Yes thats right, Konvulse.com has released it's fifth pack: kV. A pack without a special theme, just go crazy and have fun! alot of high quality works in there, go check it out!

Well it has been a while since I posted my last journal, and so I thought it was time for an update, because I don't want you to think I'm doing nothing. I am working on stuff for the next Konvulse pack, don't expect me to have alot of stuff coming. I expect like 2-3 pieces to be in.

I am so terribly busy with school troughout the week, it's pretty bad. New school, way more stuff to do so yea it's pretty hard. Anyway thats why I don't get alot of time to do my artwork. In my sparetime I have better stuff to do than work on stuff in ps (although I do have those moods I just keep working in it for a few hours).

Thanks to all the new people who put a devwatch on me, I appreciate it!

Updates with artwork soon enough xD

Allright time for a general update again..

Holiday..(again wtf)
Hell yea, for one week with friends! August 12-19! So I won't respond to any notes or whatever during that time, you can try though if you like to have the answers a few days later..

Artwork
Konvulse will release it's fifth pack, which is logical because we just had number four and we will keep doing artwork as we get bigger and bigger! Quality evolves blabla you know it..Ofcourse I can't go and reveal the next packtheme for you, KuKu would kill me, and I think all the other kV members too..except for Sander & Mark & Giel (I hope haha..as we are dutchies..jaja..), but it's a pretty easy theme this time. I've allready got one KICKASS thing done, surprise surprise..WALLPAPER SIZE, people have been asking for it a long time, 'when are you going to do another kickass wallpaper??' well after my not-so-good summer wallpaper (what was it called again..?) I had to do some better work..

Brings me to my next point, my goal for the coming pieces...more realism! I've been reading a good tutorial by Brandon (cheers good lookin'), it helped me get more realistic rendering, so yea expect more of that. My wallpaper is also a bit more realistic with the textures and stuff, looks really good!

All the other stuff I could complain about

KONVULSE pack #4 : 1979

Konvulse.com has released it's latest artpack, themed 1979
It was a pretty hard theme to work with, and it has resulted in less entries than any other pack but still the quality of the entries is amazing!

I've got 2 pieces in it which I will be releasing in the next few days. I hope you like them, I certainly do, it was a challenge to create something with a new style for this pack, but I'm glad it went really good.

Back from France
Home again, after about 3 weeks in wonderful france! I had a great time there once again and I am thinking about going there again next year, same people are coming so yea!

Art issues
Coming in the next weeks

  • 2 Pieces for Konvulse #4 (Working on the second one atm)
    • Collabs (still asking around for artists to collab with)

      I'm not sure about art outside a pack or collab, don't want to go into c4d, guess I'm being lazy lately..

Passed my exams!

A bit late but,

I PASSED MY EXAMS!

Allmost all my notes were like 7/10 also on my final list so it went pretty smooth!
I'm working on a piece for the 4th pack of Konvulse.com. It's a pack with a pretty hard theme for me and so I don't have many idea's, but a nice one popped into my head lately!


Expect good stuff!

  • Konvulse.com released it's third back, Synthetic. I suggest you all check out the once again incredible effort by all members to push pieces in. Also my piece Absynth has been featured on the banner for the third pack, which makes me pretty happy!


    • I finally finished my exams, they went pretty well so I think I passed them, I expect to hear that on June 15 so by that time I'll let you know! This means I have more time for my artwork and that you'll be seeing more pieces from me in the next...3-4 weeks. Because after that I will be going on holiday to france for about 3 weeks!

      • That is it for now..enjoy Absynth and the upcomming pieces!

Konvulse pack #2 Tranquility

The second pack of the pretty new artgroup Konvulse has just been released, called Tranquility. In this pack release we were looking for the opposite of the first pack Delirium. Where the first pack was pretty busy and chaotic to get a big entry with alot of awesome pieces, Tranquility has more calm pieces and is quite the opposite in some ways to the Delirium pack.

Alot of awesome submissions in the pack, be sure to check them all out!

I can only say that the members of Konvulse once again did an amazing job in this pack and I can't wait to see what is coming in the third pack. I'm hoping to get more submissions in the third pack than in this one, where I only submitted 2 due to some busy times.

Featured member in this pack is ~Godxx2 and it is well deserved, he has brought alot of new idea's and artworks in this pack that are just stunning. Especially Trompe L'oeil is an amazing artwork and it really deserves alot of attention and if it comes on deviantart a Daily Deviation feature for sure.

So go to Konvulse.com and check the pack Tranquility out!

I'm working on my submissions for the second pack of Konvulse. It will take some time.
I also have one new wallpaper in progress which is quite awesome but doesn't fit the packs theme so that will be a normal release for me.


Maybe you've noticed, maybe not. But I deleted alot of my old deviations, somewhat like 20 deviations. Why? I didn't like them anymore..and I was thinking about deleting them for some time now. I left all the collabs in the gallery even though I don't like the old ones anymore (some I do like though..not all are bad).

It was time for a cleanup!
